Our popular and transformational 200hrs Yin-Yang yoga Teacher Training that we usually offer on magical IBIZA, Spain with Kata van Doesselaar ERYT 500, senior Yoga Teacher, teacher trainer and Yogastudio owner- will be exceptionally moved for safety reasons, and travel restrictions due to Corona virus, to an ONLINE platform, with daily LIVE sessions broadcasted from Ibiza.
We are adapting the prices as well, as no fee for accommodation and meals, and we wish to make this unique course accessible to all interested in taking it in these challenging times.
The 200hrs is approved by Yoga Alliance and will be giving you a certificate equal to in persons trainings.
However if you would miss the in person experience - we recommend to add to the online packiage a 6 days immersion for teaching skills enhancement with adjustments, extra sequencing and teaching practices, once the situation resumes. Tentatively offering this extra week on top of the 200hrs already, in upcoming November and March. Find dates below.
This teacher training course approaches yoga from an energetical perspective, yet you will learn a lot about the physical part as well in a grounded , down to earth way. Yin& Yang is the symbol of polarities, that we encounter every where in our dualistic world. In our context yin is the principle of the feminine, receptive, still, intuitive, meditative quality, while yang is the principle of the masculine, active, expressing quality. In the cosmic order these two qualities have their eternal flow, dance where they always balance each other out and come back to balance. In our lives we have these qualities as well , but sometime we get out of balance.. Especially as most of us live in a western society, where usually the “doing” part is exaggerated and there is little time space for nurturing the quietude, the receptivity, and the connection to our own Source.
About Yin Yoga
It is a deeply meditative style, rooted in Daoism and traditional Hatha Yoga. We work mainly with floor poses, that we hold for longer time, creating deep stretching effect on muscles, ligaments, tendons, and the fascia, at the same time compressing the joints and bones.
Through yin yoga we activate the energy flow in the energy channels (meridians- Traditional Chinese Medicine), clearing blockages and creating a better flow of chi, life force energy, nurturing our organs and our whole system in general.
This is beautiful practice to deepen mindful and soulful awareness and it also works on our deeper layers of the physical bodies (versus yang practice mainly working with the superficial muscles). In yin yoga we have access to the connective tissues, like joints, bones, ligaments, and tendons and of course the fascia that connects all the parts of our body as a net.
With our popular Yin teacher training module you will be able to create a Yin class or session, long or short for a group, for an individual session, or for yourself. You will learn transition poses and intelligent ways of sequencing - taking in consideration pose families, anatomical guidelines, and meridian therapy. You will be enabled to work on a one-on-one with clients with specific needs, complaints, and anatomical constitution.
With our Yang teacher training module you will be able to create a soulful, energizing, uplifting flow class based on energetical sequencing, connected to the meridians, and the five elements, and according to an anatomical approach (sequence for hips, shoulders, etc) .
You will learn the basic poses both for the yin and the yang practices and you will be able to blend them together in a beautiful harmonious way. To promote balance, healing, growth on the soulful journey.
We will study mantras, mudras and breathing techniques, as well as specific meditations.

This Yin-Yang yoga teacher training will enable you to create the "Yin space" - the quality and energy within yourself - so it can enrich and balance your life, and so you will be able to offer it to others. The peaceful, compassionate allowing presence that heals all imbalances by just "being with it".
You will learn how to allow yourself to feel emotions, intensity, to reopen shut down senses, and then to able to let all the sensations and emotions (emotion means energy in motion) flow and go instead of diving into the story of it and holding onto them.
You will also be able to tap into a balanced Yang quality, how to move and act without efforting, without overdoing, without burning yourself out. Creating balance in our practice, in our life and our teachings as yoga teachers. You will be able to connect to the ancient knowlegde to live in connection to the 5 elements, and both in Yin & Yang (gentle soulful vinyasa flow) you will be able to restore energetical and elemental, psychological balance for your self and in working with groups or individuals.
Tantric and mindful Buddhist approach, shamanic healing approach.
This course is a deeply transformative healing journey, as only by healing and loving yourself first then you can offer these qualities to other, by going trough the experience instead of just talking about the theories of it. There will be a lot of focus on your personal experience and opening up to senses, listening, and landing in your true nature.
Yin yoga has a deeply healing effect. And even tough every person is different, every story is different, and a healing process requires not only the realizations of the patterns and underlying emotional memories and tensions behind every disease but also new conscious choices about your life, you can acknowledge that with appropriate sequences you can rebalance major imbalances in the body with regular Yin practice.
The body imbalances such as allergies, digestive, hormonal problems, back problems, mental problems, blood pressure problems, anxiety symptoms, emotional blockages, and lack of energy, and the emotional disorders such as lack of determination, trust and confidence, anger problems, depression, fears can all be nurtured by appropriate Yin practice with great results.
Eventually, it can transform your life into a more loving, more still, more attentive and caring, enjoyable journey, than the fast-paced western pattern.
Adding the yang to the yin, you will be able to get into a soulful flow which moves so much fresh and balanced energy in your body that it can release much easier tensions, and you can step onto a higher, brighter state of awareness yourself. We all need a balanced Yin side and a balanced Yang side, and that is what we will build awareness around and we will cultivate, and put this on a base of traditional sacred Yoga Philosophy and practice.

ABOUT THE TEACHERS
Kata van Doesselaar
Kata van Doesselaar is an experienced, senior yoga teacher 500Hrs EYRT, studio owner,breath and massage therapist, healer, and coach. She is practicing yoga for 15 years and teaching yoga for 10 years. She has been trained in various styles including Iyengar, Ashtanga, and Vinyasa until she found her Maha Teacher Shiva Rea that she feels the most inspired by. So Kata's primary style became the Prana Vinyasa flow yoga (Krishnamacharya lineage) that Los Angeles-based Shiva Rea founded, and she still keeps learning from it as a life long student. Besides the prana vinyasa flow yoga Kata’s big love goes out to Yin yoga that helped her to find balance in her creative busy flow. She learned Yin Yoga and Buddhist Psychology from Sarah Powers. And along the many years she developed her own style combining the very nourishing and healing Soulbreath as taught by her Breath Master Norma Delaney and the 5 elements healing of Yin yoga, chinese philosophy.
And she also immensely loved diving deep into meditation with Lama Surya Das.And into yoga nidra with Rod Stryker. Besides leading their beautiful studio in the Netherlands, and teaching weekly classes, she follows her passion of wanting to dive deeper into the Art of Yoga, Meditation with her students and is now happy to share her rich knowledge, inner wisdom and experiences in teacher trainings and retreats all over Europe & world.
Erno van Doesselaar
Erno van Doesselaar is a breath therapist coach and a yoga teacher 200hrs & studio owner. Being on his journey of self discovery since an early age, he learned to work with energies and conscious intention. He has been trained in consciousness schools to learn how to transform belief systems and emotional patterns that are limiting our life experience. His main passion is to dive deeper and deeper into the soulful connection with his true self and get his inspiration from his soul every day. He has been discovering and practicing the Soulbreath for more then 10 years now.He is very passionate about Yin yoga, which healing aspects he benefited a lot, and also about Yoga Nidra, through the IRest Teachings. Erno loves to play the hang in soulful, intuitive way, and he cant wait to dive deeper and deeper into musical experiences this upcoming time.
